Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TIQ, Antique Identifier (“TIQ”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our iPhone app or website at antiqueidentifiertiq.com. We designed TIQ to keep on your device everything we reasonably can: you do not create an account to scan, and your saved collection stays local.

What we process

Photos you scan

When you identify an item, the photo (and any optional text you add) is sent securely to our processing servers and to AI and visual-search providers solely to generate identification, history, and value estimates. We do not use your photos to advertise to you, and we do not sell them.

Your collection

Antiques you save, images, titles, notes, and estimated values, are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or back up your collection catalog to our servers.

Diagnostics and usage

We may collect anonymous, aggregated diagnostic and usage data (for example, crashes and feature usage) to keep the app stable and improve identification quality.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We receive subscription status, not your payment card details.

Website visits

When you browse antiqueidentifiertiq.com, standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) may be collected for security and analytics consistent with this policy.

Third-party processors

To deliver identifications we use trusted providers, including OpenAI (AI analysis), visual-search partners (comparable image matching), Apple (purchases and system services), and RevenueCat (subscription management). These providers process data only to perform their service on our behalf.

How long we keep data

Scan images are processed transiently to produce a result and are not retained on our servers for profiling or advertising. Your saved collection remains on your device until you delete an item or uninstall the app.

Your choices

• Delete any saved item at any time from your collection in the app.
• Uninstalling the app removes your local collection from that device.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
• Email us with privacy questions at hello@mindtastik.com.

Children

TIQ is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
